Starting the journey towards your ideal custom 1911 is straightforward. It begins with a conversation to establish that your desires for a custom 1911 are within the scope of my work. Every pistol I build is a mutual vision between client and craftsman; our compatibility and cooperative harmony insures a rewarding end to our collaborative efforts. My work is typically performed on customer supplied base guns from Colt or Springfield Armory and, due to the bespoke nature of my work, the actual build time for each gun will vary. This lead-time, however, is a good opportunity to begin considering some of the finer points for your project. When it’s your turn at my bench and I’m ready to start your project I will contact you to discuss and solidify the details of your build. At that time I will secure an initial deposit for the work that is about to commence.
