Heirloom Precision Frame Holding Fixture

It was once said that necessity is the mother of invention and our frame holding fixture is a great example of this. Originally designed and manufactured by Ted in the early 1990's, this frame holding fixture has become an indispensable tool for each of us in the shop. The versatility of our frame holding fixture is another great example of Ted's design genius and now we're making it available to both the professional and hobbyist.

Our frame holding fixture gives the user a universally adjustable holding platform that allows for comfortable and stable access to the work-piece as well as enhanced visibility and efficiency of motion. Each fixture is hand-made in our shop using U.S. made materials including tool steel rods and adjustment blocks as well as ground and hardened dowel pins. The tool is easily adjustable to fit most conventional 1911 frames and after working with it for a bit we're sure you'll find this tool as indispensible as we do.
