ERA3 Rail Gun

Keeping my shooting skills sharp is important to me and I’ve always felt that a large part of staying current, relevant, and knowledgeable about my craft is done on a range deck with time spent behind the gun in the company of other shooters. I’ve had the great pleasure to be a staff instructor at Thunder Ranch for a number of years now and on a recent teaching trip I met the gang behind the company ERA3. While sitting around a fire after a long day’s range session ideas began to bubble and after a a while it was easy to see that a collaborative project was soon to be in the works. 

With a clear vision it was obvious that we all wanted to incorporate our commutative Thunder Ranch linage so the crew at ERA3 commissioned me to build a limited number of pistols each meticulously hand crafted one at a time to mirror the specifications of Clint Smith’s personal rail gun first built by me in mid-2013. The photos here are the result and these guns will be available in extremely limited numbers direct from ERA3.
