Maker's Mark

“Strive for perfection in everything. Take the best that exists and make it better.

If it doesn’t exist, create it. Accept nothing nearly right or good enough.”
– Sir Henry Royce, co-founder of Rolls Royce –

That quote, the sentiment behind it, and the ambition to create something perfect speaks to me.  My desire and passion to constantly strive for perfection drives my work and vision for my craft. I believe that with every gun I build I have a responsibility to contribute to the tradition of exceptional handcrafted custom guns and the goal of perfection is the guiding light for everything I do.  I am not interested, nor have I ever been, in building cookie-cutter guns that all look the same or are a compilation of packaged features that can be described as “good enough”. Instead I have chosen to go a different route and treat each gun I build as the true individual endeavor that it is. This build philosophy ensures that every pistol I craft is not only truly special but also a reflection of the time and efforts I have invested, a masterwork worthy of my maker’s mark.

With each new custom build I am chasing perfection. Each product meets my rigorous standards and desire for excellence. Click to learn more.

Commissioning a custom built 1911 is a special thing. It represents a commitment not just to the 1911 platform but also to the builder. Click to learn more.

The investment of time and effort produces only the best possible product. Click  to learn more.

Much of what I do is similar to a fine artist. Instead of painting a picture, my canvas is the 1911 pistol. This canvas requires a standard from which I begin each build. Click to learn more.
